Barry Gordemer on Youtube

The following video is about Barry Gordemer from  www.handemonium.com . Barry demonstrates some of his puppet making techniques for the show “Artworks This Week” on Maryland Public Television.

Barry’s puppets are beautiful and have great character. I love the way he is able to inform the viewer (in a matter of seconds) some great puppet building techniques.

His plastic spoon eyes are very simple to make- here’s a tip though- I usually implement a Hot Glue gun to melt the holes for the black pupils instead of dragging out a drill and drilling them.

All in all a great video, very informative and fun to see Barry’s work.
