Furry Puppet Studio recently created an awesome animatronic puppet for Cincinnati Bell phone company starring Nick Lachey. The mangy dog puppet is an amazing technical feat that could not have been completed without an a well experienced, highly skilled team. Check out the “Making of” video that includes the many artistic and mechanical disciplines needed to develop this complicated puppet.

I live in the Cincinnati area, so I see this Nick Lachey/Cincy Bell Commercial A LOT! Has it ever occured to anyone that this “name-less puppet” looks like and acts like “Thizzgig” from the movie, The Dark Crystal?

Yes! I came across this website because I thought the same thing. It reminded me totally of the creature from the dark crystal.
