Project Puppet Contest Entry

Chenzira is from a great line of medicine lemurs from Madagascar. While his mother was traveling to help a fellow animal, she gave birth to him, thus naming him Chenzira “Born while traveling”. Chenzira, like his ancestors will travel anywhere to help a fellow animal. He spends his nights sleeping in the trees and during the day when not looking for medicine he likes to sun bathe. While Chenzira has been traveling he has been looking for a mate to keep up with family tradition. The only problem is that he has a horrible sense of direction, making it difficult to find a mate, thus the reason for the compass. Chenzira is also crafty, he gets made fun of by the other males for his ability to sew, but it has come in handy for making vests and pouches to put his medicine in as well as hats to protect him from the hot Madagascar sun.
