Mabel and Maude was originally a 60 min documentary made for TV.  Brendan Goethe and company edited it down into a 4 part Webisodes. It follows the story of two puppeteers one old and wise, the other crass and brazen as they develop a show for a Japanese production company. It features 2 old lady puppets that reflect the characters of the puppeteers. The show is for a mature audience and does contain material that may offend some.

I found the puppet sketches a little reminecent of “Monty Python’s Flying Circus” the characters accents, and the high pitched voices brings to mind the classic “Spam” sketch. The laugh track in the background distracted me a little from what the characters were saying but all in all it is pretty darn funny and entertaining.
